About Us
Dr. Alli Kurtz, PT, DPT, ATC
Dr. Alli graduated with a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from Northwestern University in 2018 after obtaining a Bachelor of Science, with a major in Athletic Training, at University of Miami. She is also a certified Athletic Trainer. Dr. Alli has a wide range of experience, practicing in a range of PT settings including outpatient orthopedics, adolescent athletics, pediatrics, PPECs, in schools, and as part of the medical staff during international sports competition. Dr. Alli served as team Athletic Trainer for the U18 NCSA All American Swim Team and for Team USA during the Maccabiah Games. Dr. Alli pursued a career in pediatric PT based on her love of working with kids and their positivity and their strong determination.
With extensive experience in both typical and atypical development, Dr. Alli's focus is on each unique characteristic of my patients; not their diagnosis. She has continued specialty training in pediatrics through continued education courses (CEUs) in Kinesio taping, orthotics and adaptive equipment, spinal stimulation, early intervention, developmental gross motor skills, and torticollis/plagiocephaly.
Dr. Alli's treatments are play based and child centered with a goal to provide each family with the necessary tools and techniques that will empower your child to achieve their maximum potential.

FUNctional Pediatric Therapy’s services are designed to provide skilled hands-on services AND the tools you need to progress outside of sessions. This care doesn’t stop when the session ends as we offer families unlimited call, text, and email communication to ensure ongoing progress.
